In a week I will be running my first marathon. I am feeling a variety of emotions:
Excitement because this is a big deal for me and my first marathon.
Nervousness because this is my first marathon so I don't have anything to compare it to.
Prepared because I have done a very good job with my training and I feel like I am ready and will do well.
Scared because my knee still doesn't feel 100%, I don't feel that it will be a major issue but I would feel better if it felt great. I won't worry about it though because I do have a week for it to start feeling great.
Determined because I'm really going to do this!
This week will be a preparation week. I am going to attempt to eat very healthy, drink lots of water so that can be properly hydrated for the run, and go to bed early every night this week so I will be well rested. Wish me luck!
